Tenderloin fillet

LOVE IS IN THE AIR – SO BE INDULGENT

If music be the food of love, then cook Chateaubriand this February 14th for Valentines Day. Forget the over-priced wilted red rose and silly cards, do something special and cook your loved one a meal to remember.

Why steak? Well there is an actual science behind this. Mood enhancing hormones are boosted by, lean, red meat which is high in protein and are known to increase your heart rate. So, whilst we cannot guarantee your loved one will pounce on you after their first bite, we can definitely say that the way to their heart is through their stomach!

Chateaubriand steak is a thick cut from the tenderloin fillet, so it is very lean and exquisitely tender. As it is a large cut, this steak is big enough for two people to share. For that melt-in-the-mouth taste, make sure you cook it medium rare.
